Week 6! Transfer and New companion!

Elder McMullan's email this week:

"Hello Mom, my week has been pretty ok right now. Elder Caliò and I have been doing a lot of lessons over the week with investigators. One of my Investigators has some Word of Wisdom Issues, but he has improved over the last couple of weeks and I think he has a bright future for him and his family in the church. His wife is probably the most supportive person in his life.  She has cared and stuck with him, when the rest of his relatives have abandoned him because of his problems. I got pretty worried when I heard about Transfers.  Not for myself, but more for Elder Caliò. I was hoping that the Mission President wouldn't change him, so this investigator would go back to what he is doing. It was interesting to hear that his wife said that he has never opened up to any other Missionary until Elder Caliò came around and got to him. I just wish the best for him and everyone else in the area.

We went to a Chili Cook Off, which was pretty cool to say the least. My name tag got lost over there probably because I went into the Inflatable Obstacle Course several times and forgot to take it off. Now I have to wear a piece of Paper with my name on it until I get it back.

As far as Transfers go, I will be living in an area called either Skyway Village or Painted Mountain, which is next to the Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort. My wards right now are Groves, Kensington and Val Vista.  My Church Wards that will be in tomorrow's Transfer will be Mountain Vista, Red Mountain, and Preston. My next companion will be Elder Harris,  who I know nothing about at this moment.

The one thing I am not excited about next Transfer is we are getting a Car. We will still be able to ride bikes but driving a Car is very boring to do. I guess we can use it when we go to church which is good.

Cool to hear about Jackson getting his Patriarchal Blessing today, I hope it was good. I definitely know that some of the things said in my blessing will never happen.

It is not very cold in the area and the only time I wear my suit is at church and at meetings.  Other than that we don't do much. I see you are attempting to send me another Package that I don't need right now.

If there has to be anything I want for my birthday it would be information about what JAKKS PACIFIC has left behind about that Club Penguin Elvis Plush. It has been information I would ask in my personal Prayers and something I would like to know about.

I guess it is a bit upsetting to be leaving Elder Caliò, but I know god has a plan for everyone. One of the best things I got this Transfer was this Book of Mormon Marking Guide that this guy named Lanny Owens gave to me. I marked the Book of Mormon within 30 minutes, and it took about an hour and a half to read through. While it may sound a bit silly it has helped me a lot to understand the role of the Book of Mormon and why it is true. Moroni 8 was an interesting chapter that I read and I think my favorite verses in the entire book are 1 Nephi 2:15 and Helaman 9:28.

I do clean my stuff regarding your last question, but I still have to Dry Clean the Gray suit I have used during this transfer.

One last thing I want to say is I visited the Shill family that live in Lehi and they have a Daughter that served in Antofagasta, Chile and I asked when did she serve. She said that she served in 2014 and I decided to ask if she ever met Pierce so I pulled up the picture you sent last week. She said yes. She got married after her mission and she has a newborn baby. Anyways that is really all that happened during the week and I hope to hear from you
soon."
