Hey Mom, my week has been pretty good so far, we have a Baptism possibly on Saturday. The lady we talked to was considering not doing it when we talked about Baptisms for the Dead last week. She was praying about it on Sunday when about getting a sign of it needed to happen when the Bishop texted her five minutes later. She had a meeting with the Bishop and she sounds pretty excited about Saturday. We will have to get a lot done this week in order to make it through.
On Saturday we had to do a lot of tracting for about 8 hours in fact. We had a couple good contacts this week and three of our investigators came to church on Sunday. We also helped someone move to another place which took way longer than it should have. He didn't have anything boxed up so we had to get that settled first before we could help him out.
I did get the coat from the mail this week. It is pretty big and it works pretty well. I haven't used it outside yet but when it gets cold enough I will. One of the tires in the Bike I'm using is flat so hopefully I can get that fixed today. There is a member in the ward that works at a bike shop so hopefully he can help us out. We were eating at some members house yesterday. They were some small Sliders with Brisket in them, it was pretty cool. Glad to hear that Debbie got to hear from me.
I got an email from her today so I'll respond to her today. I think it would be good if you all get in contact with her while I'm gone. It sounds like a lot is going on at home, can't imagine what the house is going to look like when I get back from my mission with the Backyard being different as well.
We haven't heard much from the lady below us other than asking us if there are other elders with us. We wanted to give her cookies but we haven't done anything yet.
I've been having multiple dreams relating to Club Penguin over the past week. They were somewhat positive and somewhat sad.
I honestly would love to go back if it was possible but it won't be around by the time I get home. We are doing the best we can to find new people to teach and scheduling lessons for the upcoming week. Anyways I hope you all have a great day and I'll talk to you again soon.
Her name is Lynn (who's getting baptized) and we hope to see the members help her out after she is confirmed a member of the church. We would hate to push it back a couple weeks because of Stake Conference on the 18th and Thanksgiving the next one. Thanks for the information about the Debit card, I do the best I can not to spend any money on my mission. I guess I forgot to mention that we worked on a Presbyterian Church's garden this week and at the Food Pantry. We found this Walmart bag there from 20 years ago which looked pretty cool.
A couple pics from the ward Halloween party! Elder Gordon and I.
