Hey Mom, my week has been pretty good so far. We had Zone Conference which was pretty good and helped me understand a lot of what I can do better as a missionary. I got to see Elder Bishop who was my MTC Companion which was pretty cool. It was a pretty good Zone Conference and I took notes on what felt important to me. Other than that we have a Funeral coming up on Wednesday for a Members Husband which is going to be hard for her. We stopped by her house yesterday to try to cheer her up with the Ward Clerk and his wife. We are asked to attend the Funeral because there may be a lot of non-members there. Not asking for any future investigators coming from it, but it wouldn't be such a bad thing to tell people what really happens after death. Elder Beltran is a pretty good companion and we are doing everything we can to find more people. It can be hard to find an investigator especially the fact that we can't give out too many copies of Book of Mormons. We were only given 7 at Zone Conference and not the 20 that we asked for. We have one planned baptism in October that we just set with someone we just met. However we won't be able to meet with him until another 2 weeks from now because he has to do some personal studies first apparently. Scripture study is good as always, you find a lot of comparisons between the Bible and the Book of Mormon if you study hard enough. I've been reading from the Old Testament as of right now and hopefully I can finish it by December 25th. We do service at the food pantry every week and we are painting a house on Saturday which should be good. The weather in Paris isn't too bad right now but it changes from time to time. I am looking forward to a cold breeze in the winter time. I'm surprised that Jackson still hasn't found a job yet, is Chick-Fil-A or Wendy's hiring in the area? He could even try working for one of the stores around there also. I am not surprised that Aiden is still crazy even at this point. One of these days he'll grow up and hopefully both of them will go on missions. Did it say anything about serving a mission on Jackson's Patriarchal Blessing? One of the Members in Elders Quorum is like 5ft 4 and a lot of people laugh about his height. Someone once asked him to make sure his Drivers License doesn't say 4ft 5 on it. He is a good sport and makes the entire quorum laugh at his jokes. We don't have too many crazy things on P-day other than getting Music on our Flash Drives that are from the Church. Can't say there are too many crazy experiences this week but we do make sure not to cross someones yard who has a no trespassing sign because they get ticked off of the little things. Texas Drivers are pretty terrible at using their turn signals so if I got in a car crash I hope I'm not the one at fault. Anyways I hope you all have a great week and I'll talk to you again soon!
