Sept 24, 2018

Hey Mom, hope you all had a great week as well. Not much has happened other than meeting with the Mission President at Interviews this week. I only had a couple of questions concerning investigators and how they can progress better. One of our Investigators lives in a Group home and we have only done Video Chats with her. We decided to ask how we can meet her in person and she told us what the Group Home or maybe even the State requires. They want our Drivers License, License Plate and our SSN. As soon as I heard SSN I said forget about it. I guess its for the safety of the people living there, but it sure feels like its invading my privacy as well. Hopefully she can get to church one day, but we will have to find a way to convince the manager to let her go. We had another investigator that came to mind who has been investigating the church for about 5 years now. He can become a member of the church very easy as long as he gets off drugs. He has already been to Prison twice and if he gets caught a third time then we won't see him again. I don't want to have to live through the same problem that happened about 2 months ago again. As far as new investigators we have met a few in Clarksville this week. We seem to find a couple people there every week, but it doesn't always work out. It is very hard to get in contact with some people because we only go there on Wednesdays, but we hope people will be fine with us coming only once a week. I forgot to get pictures of me and my companion during the week, but I'll see if I can get any. Remember, I hate taking Selfies so the possibility of me getting one without asking people is very small. I'm not too sure if Elder Beltran is a City or a Country kind of person. He lives in Idaho so I'm guessing he is partially Country but he does enjoy the city quite a bit. That is pretty cool that Kenyon got home from her mission recently from New York. I wish I was able to go out a lot earlier than I did, but I had to deal with LDS Family Services. If only I wasn't too honest on my Mission Papers. No clue on what I am going to talk about in a couple weeks, must be something about Missionary Work because there is someone giving a Farewell talk the same day. Tell the Bishop I don't want to do a Homecoming Talk when I get home, there is no point to it whatsoever. Glad to hear everything is going alright back at home, hopefully Jackson will be able to find a job soon. I am trying to remember who Kaden is in the ward. Isn't there two of them in the ward? That was a pretty bad Zone Conference picture I thought, I wasn't trying to hide at all, just didn't choose a good spot. I am doing ok as a missionary, sometimes I get worried about little things and I put myself down. I'll do the best I can to get people interested in the church when all I really want to do is attack other religions on how stupid their philosophy is. Trinity my Donkey. I don't have favorite companions, and I don't usually write back to them either. I hope you all have a great week and I'll talk to you again soon.

I forgot to tell you that I was driving on a dirt road and the car started to drift.  It was pretty cool, although Elder Beltran was a little freaked out about it. We also drove through some heavy rain coming back from interviews where we couldn't see outside the windows we'll even with the wipers on full blasts. That lasted about 15-20 minutes of driving.

We named this caterpillar wumple, before it got injured.
