Hey Everybody, how are you all doing today! It has been a great week here in Stonewall. First things first is that the Yarbrough Family plans on going to the Temple on Saturday! Brother Yarbrough (that's weird to say) got the Aaronic Priesthood this last week. You know, the A aronic Priesthood. It should be like where is A aronic right now. All of a sudden someone says my priesthood is the Aaronic. And then someone throws a fit saying "SON OF BEESWAX!!! YOU DONE MESSED UP A ARONIC!!!" Just kidding, I am starting to run out of Material. Anyways it was the first time I have been able to participate in the ordination of a new priesthood holder. It was super exciting and super awesome. They are so pumped to go to the Temple on Saturday and we will be going there as well.
In other news a Member in our ward passed away this week. Kind of sad but he is in a much better place. Those pictures of last week with all of the Replicas of the Golden Plates and the Urim and Thummim were his. His name was Jerry Ainsworth and he sadly passed away on Friday. He served as a Missionary in Canada under President Thomas S. Monson and was his counselor for a time. Before he was released Thomas S. Monson told him that even though he was finishing his mission that he would be his counselor in the Eternities. He cried after hearing that. We plan on going to his Funeral on Wednesday so hopefully everything goes well.
The work is doing pretty well in this area. We are planning on having Splits in this area after it being gone for so long so that will help a lot. There is a lot of people that we are teaching but members can make them progress much faster. We'll be releasing a progress record to them every week to let them know how everyone is doing. I'm glad to be serving in this area and I hope I'll be here next transfer. Hopefully we'll be able to meet with the Permenters soon but it may take a while. The Wife wants to learn about the church but the Husband wants to wait a little bit. They are so awesome but he may be hesitant to learn. He has family members living in the same area as him so he may not want to have any big opposition happen to him yet until he learns for himself. They have come to church twice already so we are praying that they will be ready to accept the Gospel soon. Anyways I hope you all do well this week and I'll talk to you again soon.
