Hey I am doing alright. Just got Transfer news last night and I'm going to Frisco which is right next to Allen. It probably won't be a difficult Transfer but I don't know for sure. The Companion that I am going with just got trained I believe so it will be interesting. I asked President Dalton today in an email to put more Responsibility on my shoulders for my mission.
Shawene is doing alright, but its been difficult to meet with them. We want her to read the Book of Mormon after a member gave her a copy this week which apparently is the 7th one she has gotten. She wants us to meet with her Daughter's Boyfriend in Jail, but that is outside of our area. We are getting in contact with the other elders to get them to visit her.
Elder Price is a good companion but I wish he would get less distracted on Facebook. I know that all the companions I've had so far had something holding them back from achieving their full potential in Missionary Efforts. Elder Gordon was going to Raising Cane's about 2-3 times a week. The others were just attached to getting music that isn't necessary for Missionary work. Not trying to call them out because I know I have my own problems as a missionary, but I know I could've done better to help them out get out of the world for 2 years and Serve the Lord with everything they have.
The Weather is pretty ok over here, it got down to the 20s and Rained rather than snowed which sucked. I got a Flu shot on Tuesday and it did the opposite of helping me for the past week.
That is cool that Hope is staying in the same house as Charity, that is a pretty cool miracle. So did they drive up together to Idaho or separate cars?
We had Mission Conference and Stake Conference this past weekend. We were supposed to have Elder Stevenson come but Elder Ballard emailed him and said they needed him for pressing matters. It could be someone is getting in trouble in the church and can lead to Excommunication or Chastisement. Usually Apostles have to attend those situations. Elder Teixeira of the Presidency of the Seventy came and gave us a pretty good Training. He helped us out on how we can be more effective missionaries. I'll have to adapt those things into our efforts. Just like before Elder Stevenson was supposed to also be at Stake Conference but he was gone. Wish he was there but the Spirit still presided. It was shorter than a usual Stake Conference.
We also gave a blessing to a lady that we met a while ago. We found her through a less active part member family. We were told by members not to stop by their house because they are a waste of our time but we went anyways. Because of them we found Shawene and her Family through a miracle and this lady. They give us a lot of really good referrals so we will stop by often.
Elder Waiwaiole is in that picture with me. I had a really good relationship with him and he taught me a lot. He is getting married in February so I plan on sending him a Tie to congratulate him. He is 25 and has been dating this girl for 5 years. I would of attended his wedding if I was able to. My companion I think is Elder Bingham but I don't know where he is from yet. Transfers are tomorrow so I'll let you know next week. Another small miracle I forgot to mention is that Elder Price has a cousin who is friends with a girl I liked at the MTC. Haha, just kidding. But he could help me out set up a date with her after the mission. Also here is that Book of Mormon Marking Guide I forgot to send a while ago.
